Lancer Robotics believes in inspiring the younger generations to the world of competitive robotics. As a team, we strive to inspire and teach our younger community, and do so by mentoring the students of the St. Simon schools. There, we mentor several St.Simon robotics teams ranging from elementary to middle school, and lend helping hands at their annual Vex competitions. Vex involves teaching kids how to create and program basic competition robots, and serves as an introductory event to FRC, something we strongly encourage every student we teach considers pursuing in high school. Vex involves teamwork, problem-solving, and critical thinking, all qualities we value as essential in our FRC members. Through Vex workshops and our team mentorship, we can prepare the next generation of Lancers for a bright future in robotics and FRC!
